Artist Statement: I always start with the maybe. Maybe it’s going to work - maybe not. I wouldn’t equate the feeling to a sense of fear, but a feeling of excitement and trepidation. I try to combine different elements or styles that I personally love, starting with the figure which represents the larger Us.

Color is very important to me. It’s important to me to have the ability to approach utilizing it in a way that is playful and loose. The same respect I give to color also affects my relationship with mediums. I’m passionate about not limiting myself to what I know, but instead grabbing what I need to get me there when experimenting with bringing my visions to life. The proper blending of elements is what I hope captivates you to experience my work as opposed to solely viewing it. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I’ve enjoyed getting to share it.
